Frequently asked questions

Are you a Claims Management Company?
Claim-Easy are a Claims Management company, however we differ from most Claims Management companies in a number of key ways:

  • We act as an intermediary between the potential claimant and a team of expert, specialist solicitors that are best equipped to help with the individual’s case. This intermediary service carries no charge – we pass your claim to specialist solicitors entirely free of charge without deducting from your final compensation*.
  • We do not simply sell your claim on to a firm of solicitors as some Claims Management companies do, nor do we make a deduction from the compensation awarded for a successful claim.
  • Claim-Easy are an entirely ethical company that works with the best interests of our clients in mind at all times. We are focused on working with the right solicitors for the particular claim and in securing the best possible outcome for our client while protecting the full amount of the client’s compensation at all times.
  • Some companies refer to themselves as a Claims Management company without being fully regulated, however only businesses authorised by the Ministry of Justice may provide regulated claims management services. Claim-Easy are authorised by the Ministry of Justice to do this under the registration number MOJ. CRM12529. This regulation ensures our clients receive an ethical, professional and accountable service.

Will I really keep all of my compensation?
Yes, in all successful cases of a personal injury claim or industrial disease claim, you get to keep 100% of the compensation awarded to you. With Claim-Easy there are no hidden catches, costs or fees; we are entirely transparent about our methods and the claiming process from the outset so that you get peace of mind. Successful personal injury or industrial disease claimants always receive every penny of their compensation with our fees payable entirely by the other side.

Claims for mis-sold Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) can differ, however, as such cases often settle out of court. However, in these situations our panel of solicitors always agree with you a fixed rate for all costs that will arise before the proceedings begin for your PPI claim. And if there is no recovery of your mis-sold insurance premium then you will not be charged a penny.

At Claim-Easy, we understand how potentially stressful claiming for an accident, injury or financial loss can be if not managed properly. Naturally worrying about costs involved and whether the process is worth it given the ultimate financial compensation are central to this potential stress. That’s why Claim-Easy is committed to making everything as “easy-peasy” as possible and this includes the claim and payment of your compensation. You will always be kept informed as to process and progress and all successful claimaints are guaranteed to receive every bit of their compensation in full, in the cases of PPI claims, minus only the agreed fixed rate at the outset.

What is No Win No Fee?
No Win No Fee is the popularised term for what is known in the legal world as a Conditional Fee Agreement: an agreement of a condition which has to happen before a fee becomes payable. If the agreed condition is not met, no fee is payable. In the cases of compensation claims, this means that if your claim case is not won then the condition will not be met which means that no fee will be payable. In short: you don’t win your case, you don’t have to pay a fee.

This is a very important feature of the Claim-Easy process for all claims and means that you can start your claim safe in the knowledge that you will not be issued with a bill for our lawyers’ services should your claim be unsuccessful. At Claim-Easy we believe that things should not just be “easy-peasy” but also transparent. That’s why we don’t add on any ‘hidden’ or unexpected charges in any cases, those that are won or lost. If you win your case, you can be sure that you will receive 100% compensation with no expenses having been deducted*, and should you lose your case you are safe in the knowledge that with Claim-Easy it really is a case of ‘No Win, No Fee’.

So is there a fee if the case is won?
Successful claimants that win their case through Claim-Easy can be certain that they will not be charged any fee whatsoever. Successful cases do incur a fee but this is only the legal costs incurred by our panel of solicitors and this is always recovered from the other side. This means that no fee is payable by you at all if you win your case: 100% compensation* is payable to you and you won’t be surpised by any unexpected charges once the case is completed.

While every compensation claim and every case is different, some things unite all Claim-Easy cases: specialist legal teams bring their expertise to each case; a transparent and ethical approach is always taken; there are never any hidden or unexpected charges; if a case is lost then no fee is payable by the claimant; and if a case is won, legal costs are recovered from the other side and not from the claimant. How long will it take?
At Claim-Easy, we understand that you want your claim to be resolved quickly and simply, that’s why we go out of our way to make things as “easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy” as possible. A drawn-out claim process is in no one’s interest, which is why our panel of solicitors endeavour to settle your claim as quickly as possible and aim to conclude the majority of cases within 6 months. Claim-Easy differes from other claims management companies in one key way: we are a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation and have no financial interest attached to your claim. This independence allows our panel of solicitors to work entirely in your best interests at all times.

While an out-of-court settlement is always preferable, it is not always possible to settle more complicated cases without going to court. While going to court can of course take longer, our solicitors will keep you completely informed of the process and status of your case through every step of the claim. Not only do our panel of solicitors fight to secure the best possible settlement terms for you, but they also ensure that the case is as short and straightforward as possible.

Will I have to go to court?
Out-of-court settlements are always preferable: not only do they save the claimant the time and hassle and potential stress of going to court, but they are often settled in less time. The majority of cases Claim-Easy manage are settled out-of-court, with an agreement being reached with the other side without the need for court proceedings.

If your case is a little more complicated and does need to go to court, Claim-Easy and our panel of solicitors do everything within their power to expedite the process. Part of this is ensuring that your claim is commenced in your local County Court; that way if you are called to give evidence you will only have to travel locally. On top of this, Claim-Easy’s panel of solicitors will seek to recover up to £50.00 for loss of earnings, plus reasonable travel expenses incurred while attending court.

If you do have to go to court, rest assured that with the help of your expert, experienced and friendly solicitor, you will understand the process and be guided through any input you need to provide. Our panel of solicitors are more than talented legal-eagles, they’re helpful and approachable people who actually enjoy helping claimants reach a satisfactory settlement. Relax in the knowledge that your case is in the hands of the professionals.

So what's the catch?
There really is no catch! Unlike most other claims management companies, Claim-Easy are a not-for-profit organisation who are determined to preserve your solicitor’s independence and integrity. This means that the only person that needs to be kept happy is the only one that really counts: you! It is all too easy to muddy the waters of a claim case through conflict of interest. This never happens with Claim-Easy.

Our panel of solicitors really do work in your interests and your interests alone, ensuring not only that you have the best chance of winning your case, but also that you secure the best possible settlement. And throughout the entire process you are very much made to feel as though your interests are at the heart of the claim, something that should be a given, but unfortunately is not always the case with other claims companies.

Still feel like it’s too good to be true? Then just call one of our helpful team and ask them anything you like: they’re on hand to allay any doubts you may have. But don’t just take our word for it: read the happy testimonials of real clients who have found out for themselves that there really is no catch.

What if I have a complaint?
At Claim-Easy we do everything in our power to supply the highest quality of service at all possible times. However, we appreciate that in some instances disputes can happen. In the unlikely event of you wishing to make a complaint, we understand that you will want to do so easily and quickly, and be assured of a satisfactory and amicable resolution.

We pride ourselves on having fully trained, experienced, approachable and friendly team members at Claim-Easy and this extends to whether they are the solicitor dealing with your claim, or are the person dealing with a complaint.

All complaints are managed with the utmost of seriousness and we will investigate the matter thoroughly and professionally at all times. The complainant will receive a full response in writing to both acknowledge the complaint and explain how the matter will be dealt with, if applicable.
