Pedestrian Accidents

Under the UK Highway Code, pedestrians have the right of way when crossing the road, even - for instance - if a car is going through a traffic light which is on green. There are a number of rules in place under The Highway Code to protect pedestrians, which can make claiming for accident compensation on the part of the pedestrian a little easier than for some other road traffic accidents. This is presuming you are using a claims management company like Claim-Easy; we have a team of expert solicitors that are fully versed in this area of the law.

As a pedestrian involved in a road traffic accident you may have more rights, but that doesn't mean that it is not important to have all the facts surrounding your accident clear, and of course any impartial witnesses to the accident will greatly help your claim. Remembering to (or being able to) do so at the time of the accident is not always possible, however, and that does not mean that you will not be able to make a claim. If you have been injured as a pedestrian, whether it happened on the pavement or in the road, and the accident was not your fault, you could well be eligible to claim compensation. The Claim-Easy panel of solicitors will assess your case and advise you on your eligibility. And as for all personal injury claims, we work on a no win no fee basis and you will receive 100% compensation.
